Franny Megan
 
Franny Minervini-Zick has been teaching young children for 39 years. She holds a Community College Credential. Besides developing and opening THH, Franny taught Child Development Classes at SRJC. Franny developed her special preschool program when her daughter, Maggie, 28, was a baby. Her daughter, Zoe, is 23. Franny also teaches parenting classes and facilitates workshops on Democratic Family Principles, Valuing Diversity, and Preteen Girls' groups. She is also a docent for the Laguna de Santa Rosa. Franny especially loves singing, gardening and cooking with children. She also enjoys these same activities with her husband of 35 years, Glenn.
   
Megan Cole has been working with preschool children for 4 years. She has an Associate Teachers Certificate and holds more than 22 units in Early Childhood Education. She is pursuing her BA degree in Environmental Studies with a focus in Outdoor Leadership, and is minoring in Early Childhood Education at Sonoma State University. This will be Megan's third year working at Tree House Hollow. Megan has a large theatre and gardening background and deep interests in education, the environment, sustainability, and helping young people become good stewards of our planet.
 
Liza Maricela
  Liza Tarrani just moved to the Sebastopol area from Maitland, Florida where she worked for the Jewish Community Center of Greater Orlando for over 25 years. For 20 years she worked as an Early Childhood credentialed lead teacher, and also was their Youth/Camp Director for 5 years, plus many other specialties working with early childhood and school aged children. Liza's move to our area was mostly to be near her daughter Jenifer (27), and to enjoy the beauty of our area, and wonderful life style. She brings with her many years of experience, education, love of children, and her son, Trent(20) She looks forward to working with everyone, and adding her special touch to our program.  

 

Maricela O. Rodriguez was born in Michoacan Mexico. She came to the United States with her family (her four children: Yesenia, Benigno, Daniel, and Mariana, and her  husband, Benigno) 5 years ago. She has an Associate Teachers Certificate and has more than 7 years of experience  working with elementary school age children in her country. This is her first year working at Tree House Hollow while she is continuing her education at the SRJC.  
Jessica
Jessica Morell
 
Jessica ( Jes ) Morell holds a BA with double concentrations in Psychology and Media Studies from Antioch University and holds a Masters In Teaching from City University. She has traveled and worked in many countries and lived for extended periods in both Australia and Denmark. She has worked in film and video production and was the coordinator on a National Geographic children's video series entitled 'Amazing Planet'. She is a lifelong movement arts practitioner and teaches an early self-awareness class for adolescent girls entitled RISE: Reproductive Information/Scientific Education. She strongly believes that creating safe, joyful and beautiful learning environments for children can contribute towards the future healing of the planet. Jes created and ran a children's center, 'SkyFish' on Vashon Island in WA for several years before moving to CA. She has experience teaching preschool through 8th grade. Jes is the mother of three amazing kids and wife to an environmentalist. She is delighted and honored to be joining the Tree House Hollow family.
